Acne – How To Reduce Or Eliminate It Effectively
“Acne”, a word that strikes fear into the hearts of young adults around the world. The prospect of being seen or photographed with a few zits can make even the most sociable of young folks hide in the back row and plant their face on the desk. Exacerbating things is the fact that no acne medication is a silver bullet. Some medications will be more effective than others and in some cases a medication can have unwanted side effects. There are, however, simple and effective ways to prevent acne.
The easiest way to reduce acne is to simply get outside in the sun. Acne can be nipped in the bud if you simply exercise a little. Try not to spend too much time in the sun, as UV rays can be hard on your skin.
Another simple way of preventing acne is to avoid touching your face. Be conscious of when you do it. You could also tell your friends to point it out to you when you do in case you don’t notice yourself doing it. You probably touch your face more than you think you do.
A healthy diet can curb acne. Having more natural produce and less snack food is a start. Especially focus on foods with high anti-oxidant content such as blueberries.
One other way of doing things is to wash your face. About a minute of washing with lukewarm water should suffice. Moisturizers can also help, depending on the type of acne you have, as can changing your makeup if you wear it. If you use styling gel, simply keeping it off your face will do the trick.
Different races can be more susceptible to acne. Lighter skin is often not as badly affected as black African skin, although the acne itself is often more noticeable.
If conditions deteriorate, look into dermatology. Acne is not dangerous but it can be scarring. That having been said, don’t worry. .
